Sandbox!

Addie jumped right into her new sandbox (despite already playing in the sandbox at school!)

Blowing Bubbles

 

Every week, really every day, seems to bring something new with Addie - new words, new games, new talents... This week she focused hard on blowing bubbles and putting her shoes on herself. Despite usually smooshing the bubble wand right up onto her lips, she has managed to blow a few bubbles all on her own (which of course, she has the utmost pride in!) She hasn't had quite the same level of success with putting on the shoes. Of course, it doesn't help that on many occasions she is already wearing shoes when she attempts this task. But, we know she won't give up! (and she is still very successful at removing her shoes - usually in the car on the way to school) 

She has also added a bunch of new words to her vocabulary - the letter of the week must be "P" because park, pool, and party are a few new favorites (and she also exclaimed "poop!" to me in the car right as I was dropping her off at school - it was quite literal in that moment, for which I apologized to her teacher as I handed her off...)

I am starting this blog as a place to keep memories in the form of stories and photographs of Addie's life (with maybe some of my life - and Ollie & Lucie's thrown in there occasionally, too!) 

I may sometimes update it daily, other times it could be weeks between posts. I probably will still send some photos via text or Facebook, but this way you can check in when you have time or want to. My hope is that someday I can share this blog with her as well.  We'll play it by ear and see how it goes!
